  • Chloride lime, peroxides, containers with polyester resin and other oxidants.
  • Arsenic, cyanides, insecticides, herbicides, live virus material and other infectious substances.
  • Radioactive materials.
  • Acids, alkalis; mercury in thermometers; electrolytic batteries and other caustic substances.
  • Asbestos, strong-smelling substances and their extracts, dry ice, magnetized items and other various dangerous materials.
  • Conditions for dangerous items and substances transported by the passenger

  1.  Permitted in or as checked-in baggage, but must be agreed with the carrier:
    • Reliably packed cartridges for sporting arms (category 1.4S), max. gross weight 5 kg per passenger, for the passenger’s personal use, except ammunition with explosive or incendiary charges. The allowances for more than one passenger may not be united
    • Camping stoves and containers which contained liquid flammable fuel may be transported only on the condition that the fuel tank of the camping stove and/or fuel container is fully dried from liquid fuel and that all precautions reducing the risk of danger to zero are taken
    • Dry ice for a maximum of 2 kg per passenger for the packaging of non-dangerous perishable products, provided that the packaging lets carbon dioxide out
    • Wheelchairs and other means of movement with dry-cell batteries, provided that the battery is disconnected, the battery contacts are insulated to prevent short circuit and the battery is firmly attached to the wheelchair or electric drive.
    • Wheelchairs and other means of movement with electrolytic batteries.
        • Permitted in / as hand baggage, but must be agreed with the carrier:
          • Heating appliances, for example, underwater torches (diver’s lamps).

          • Avalanche rescue rucksack (one rucksack for one passenger) containing a triggered pyrotechnic mechanism containing less than 200 mg of category 1.4S substances and less than 250 mg of category 2.2 compressed gas. The rucksack must be packed so that its contents cannot be activated. The air cushions inside the rucksack must have pressure reduction valves.
          • Frozen liquid nitrogen fully absorbed on porous material in a package with heat insulation for carriage under low temperatures. The packaging must be designed so as to prevent the pressure growth inside the container and emission of liquid nitrogen, regardless of the type of heat insulation.
        •  Permitted in or as hand baggage, checked-in baggage or for carriage individually with the passenger, but must be agreed with the carrier:
          • Up to two portable cylinders with carbon dioxide or another category 2.2 gas built into a life jacket and up to two refills per person.

            • Alcoholic beverages in individual packaging containing more than 24% but not more than 70% of alcohol in containers with the capacity not more than 5 l, the maximum total quantity being 5 l per person.
            • Portable cylinders with carbon dioxide used by the passenger to activate orthopedic appliances. This applies to spare cylinders of the same size, if necessary during the whole flight.
            • Electronic appliances containing lithium and lithium-ionic batteries and cells, such as watches, calculators, photo and video cameras, mobile phones, notebooks etc. if transported for personal use. The spare batteries must be protected from short circuit and must be transported only in the hand baggage. In each spare battery:

            - for lithium-metal batteries and batteries with lithium alloys, the contents of lithium must not exceed 2 g;

            - for lithium-ionic batteries, the total contents of lithium must not exceed 8 g.

            • Lithium-ionic batteries with the total contents of lithium more than 8 g but not more than 25 g may be transported in hand baggage only if individually protected from short circuit, subject to a maximum of 2 batteries per person.
            • Hair curling appliances containing carbon dioxide, max. 1 unit per person, provided that the heater is reliably packed. Such hair curling appliances may not be used on board. Gas refills for them may be transported in checked-in baggage only.
